Appreciating Our City

January 24, 2013

For today's morning meeting, Jeff showed us a video from the group CDZA, which used New York City street names as musical inspirations. When I first saw the video back in December, I didn't fully "get" all the references. Some of the songs were unfamiliar to me, and some were familiar songs but I didn't know who sang them. I decided to create a teachem class using the video so that everybody could fully understand why all the songs were chosen.

In the end, Jeff pointed out that the video makes us truly appreciate the city in which we live and work  - there's inspiration all around us! Watch the video, enjoy, and learn some new music while you're at it!
