This Friday morning, Sal told us to be responsible and here's why:
Sal: "I have never been much of a motivational book reading type of guy, but after being handed The Success Principles by Jack Canfield one of my first days working for Lawline, I decided to give it a try. The first chapter has stuck with me the most, and it effected an immediate change in my outlook on life. It's entitled "Take 100% Responsibility of Your Life". It made me realize that I am the cause of all of my experiences in my life. Sure there are things that are out of my control, such as gravity and the weather, but by actively taking control of those things that I do have control over I can better my life. By controlling your life you can achieve your goals, and overcome obstacles. It is all about how you react to particular circumstances. This requires great drive, and that is why I chose the clip for today. It describes someone who, having several odds stacked against him, manages to make the best out of his life."
Here is another clip that speaks about hard work and drive. It is similar to a post on October 19, 2011 by David Schnurman:
Our Office Ambassador, Ann, has been at Lawline for 7 years. When she was hired, we told her that the most important part of the position would be to make people happy. She hasn’t let us down from then on. It’s with pride she makes sure the culture stays strong, everyone has what they need, and everything is working smoothly. Ann has said working at Lawline has been life-changing, for the better. Outside the office, she enjoys spontaneous trips, video games, and spoiling her two cats, Bishop and Lady Iris.
