My session, "Programming Best Practices," was all about creating CLE programs that people actually want to attend. We covered the full lifecycle of a CLE program — from identifying a timely topic and finding the right subject matter expert, to crafting a course description that makes attorneys actually click "play" or sign up, to keeping faculty happy and organized along the way. The biggest takeaway? Stay organized and always keep your ideal attendee in mind.
The roundtable that followed was one of my favorite parts — it was great to swap real-world tips with folks who are newer to the CLE world and hear what challenges they're navigating.
One attendee shared this, which honestly made my day: "You were one of my favorite presenters — engaging, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to listen to. Your perspective on what makes a strong PowerPoint was particularly helpful and provided practical takeaways that so many people could benefit from."
