From January through March, Michelle D., Laura, Alberto, Mike Sullivan, Amanda, Cali, Daniel, Alex, and Alyssa stepped outside their comfort zones to participate in our Q1 Career Compass Circle focused on growing their public speaking & presenting skills.
We learned key strategies to improve public speaking like eliminating filler words and delivering more engaging presentations through intentional practice, supportive feedback, and authentic vulnerable moments. Participants discovered that confidence doesn’t come from being perfect, but from being prepared, confident, and fully present.
From managing self-criticism to leveraging the power of storytelling, everyone walked away with tools they can apply to future presentations, meetings, or even casual team updates. A special thank you to our guest speaker, Michele Richman (Chief People Officer), who shared valuable insights on how to connect with audiences through storytelling.
