Celebrating Daniel’s Promotion to Senior Technical Producer!

In his new role, he will lead the success of our live webcast platform, shaping the future of legal education by managing high-quality broadcasts and driving audience engagement through innovative features. Can you share your career path leading up to your recent promotion? We’d love to hear about the roles you’ve held, key experiences, and any turning points.

I developed a love for film and photography in high school and had a brief stint in film school before transferring to Brooklyn College. After college, I worked for various non-profits as a media producer, an after-school instructor at an elementary school, and a middle school chess tutor. I became deeply invested in education and, as a result, e-learning. While pursuing my MFA at NYU, I worked at the NYU Wagner School of Public Policy, which opened my eyes to the possibility of working in education as a media specialist.

How do you envision your new role impacting both our team and Lawline’s future? Are there specific goals or initiatives you're excited to pursue?

I see myself as someone who can bring innovation to Lawline's key products and services. I want to build on my time in the production department and the initiatives I’ve led to take on more advanced, technical projects. Among them are finding creative ways to use AI and cloud-based systems to develop stronger workflows and create a more engaging product.

Looking ahead, what are your long-term career goals and how does this promotion align with them?

I’d say my long-term goal is to transition from being a production person to a product person. As Senior Technical Producer, I’m learning what it takes to be a technical lead, working with various stakeholders to develop new features and manage projects. Above all, I aim to constantly be and think like an innovator. Perhaps that’s my most desired role. The future is bright!
