Upon reaching my 4th year at Lawline, I reflected upon my journey here and was quite proud. I couldn't ask for anything more. Yet, Michele, the HR and Legal Director, surprised me with two front row tickets to see Avenue Q!
Being a Broadway lover, it was surprising that I've never seen this play before nor knew what it was about. My assumption was it was like a spoof of Sesame Street. However, soon it became clear that it was deeper than that and actually like Sesame Street for (mature) adults with all the lessons. The songs 'Purpose' & 'What Do You Do with A B.A. in English?' reminded me of how I felt coming out of college few (or many) moons ago. My favorite song, though hard to choose, was Schadenfreude but it should reflect who I am as person. So after seeing the play, does it suck to be me? I think not!
Overall it was a fun and insightful experience. Thanks Lawline for giving me the opportunity to check off a Broadway show from my list and of course making this team an amazing group to work with!
