While there are few things in life better than being able to work at Lawline, I must confess that I've had a rough go of it lately in terms of my personal life. When you get down, it's important to try and put things in perspective, just the same way one bad conversation or poor sales day doesn't suddenly make you bad at this job.
I don't always do this, but recently I've come to the conclusion that the best thing you can do is just try to minimize the damage and work to find a solution to what ails you. In short, the Play-Doh theory came about this way:
Play-Doh was originally invented to serve as a soot remover for chimneys and such. When the world moved away from coal and towards electric and gas heating, the compound was rendered more or less useless.
Shortly after though, the inventor's sister in law told him that her children were using the compound as modeling clay and absolutely loved it. She suggested adding food coloring so it would be more fun to look at, he did...and Play-Doh was born.
The point of that all is this...we're all just one small adjustment from making our lives work.
Just wanted to share that with everyone.
