This season at Lawline has been full of love. 3 employees got married within months of each other, and as a team, we did what we always do when something big is happening in someone's life: we showed up for it!
Three wedding showers. Three celebrations. Three moments where work stopped being work and became something much more personal.
It would be easy to say that weddings, babies, birthdays, and life milestones are personal things that belong outside of work but the people on this team are not just their job descriptions. They're humans living full, meaningful lives, and the things that matter most to them outside of work deserve to be celebrated by the people they spend so much of their time with.
When you work remotely, your coworkers don't always get to be there for the big moments the way an in-person team might, so we create the moments., we make time for them, and we show up.
We are a team that genuinely likes each other. That celebrates the big things and the small things. That understands that supporting someone through a season of joy is just as important as supporting them through a season of challenge.
Arika, Michelle, and Katie: we are so happy for each of you. You deserve every bit of the love that is headed your way, and we are so glad we got to be part of celebrating it.
