Welcome To The Team!

We want to extend a warm welcome to our newest Lawliner, Ariel Peña!

She is joining us as an Attorney Compliance Coordinator in our Accreditation Department, a critical role within the Lawline team. She will be responsible for ensuring that our customers understand and maintain compliance with state CLE requirements. In her role, Ariel will collaborate closely with state representatives to ensure timely and accurate reporting of customer attendance. She will also ensure that Lawline’s communications about CLE requirements for attorneys and legal professionals are clear, accurate, and timely.

Ariel was born in Lafayette, LA, and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.B.A. in Marketing in 2015 and initially worked in the wine industry. Later, she returned to school and received her JD from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2020. During her downtime, Ariel enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, playing volleyball, and hosting game nights with family and friends.

We're eager to knowAriel so we asked her: 

What are you most excited about in joining Lawline?

I am most excited about being able to actively utilize my background. It’s rare to find an opportunity that aligns so well with my experience. You can tell everyone at Lawline takes ownership of their responsibilities and I am excited to get to that point where I will make an impact in my role. 

How would you describe your first day?

My first day is going great! I am absorbing a lot and eventually, it will all be a natural flow but for now, I am appreciative of the opportunity and taking in all of the information. I can tell from day 1 that Lawline is an employee focused company, which is a breath of fresh air! For me, the highlight is joining all of the different slack channels so I can bond with my new coworkers outside of work tasks.
