Lawline’s Rotating 4-Day Work Week is Official—Here’s Why It Matters!

At Lawline, we’re always looking for ways to enhance our culture, and we’re excited to announce that our rotating 4-day work week is now an official benefit! After listening to your feedback and successfully experimenting with the idea, we’ve seen how much this change can improve work-life balance, increase productivity, and promote a more engaged workforce.

But what does this mean for you, whether you’re already part of the team or considering joining us? Let’s break it down.

How the Rotating 4-Day Work Week Works

Lawline’s rotating 4-day work week means every team member gets a dedicated Friday off on a regular rotating schedule. This rotation ensures that our departments remain fully operational while still giving everyone a much-needed break.

Our employees have multiple ways to keep track of their schedule so they can easily plan ahead and stay on top of their workload while enjoying their extra day off.

What Our Employees Get Out of It

This benefit is about trusting our team to deliver results while enjoying more flexibility. Here’s what employees have shared about the rotating 4-day work week:

  • Better work-life balance: With an extra day off, team members can focus on personal interests, family time, or simply recharging, leading to higher job satisfaction.
  • Increased productivity: Knowing that they have Fridays off, employees plan their week more efficiently and stay focused on hitting their goals.
  • Enhanced well-being: The additional time for self-care has already shown positive effects on mental and physical health across the company.

Holiday Adjustments

We know holidays are important, so here’s how the rotating schedule adjusts during those times:

  • For Monday holidays like MLK Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day, everyone gets the Friday before off. After the Monday holiday, we work the full week from Tuesday to Friday to balance the time off.
  • For holidays like New Year’s Day, Juneteenth, and Christmas, there’s no change to the schedule—employees get the holiday, and the regular rotation continues.
  • For July 4th and Thanksgiving, everyone gets the holiday off, and we work the full week following.

Why It Matters to You

If you’re already with Lawline, the rotating 4-day work week is our way of showing we value your well-being and trust your ability to succeed in a flexible environment. It’s been a hit so far, and we’re proud of how smoothly the transition has gone.

If you’re considering joining us, this benefit is just one of the ways we’re creating a culture that values balance, productivity, and personal growth.

At Lawline, we believe that when our people thrive, the company thrives.
