Show & Tell Isn’t Just for Kids Anymore

Remember the magic of show & tell back in elementary school? That feeling of getting to share something meaningful, quirky, or unique to you while learning surprising things about your classmates? We think that kind of connection shouldn’t end in childhood.

That’s why our latest Lunch Table session brought back show & tell, with a grown-up twist. Team members joined over lunch to share objects that hold personal meaning, and it turned into a heartfelt (and sometimes hilarious) experience full of curiosity, laughter, and connection.

Here’s a peek at what was shared:

  • 🌽 Frank gave us a look into his home garden and showed off his blue corn project. Yes, blue corn!
  •  🍯 Arika wowed us with her homemade dairy-free caramel, made completely from scratch after a few failed attempts (which she told with humor and grace).
  •  🕸 Mike let his inner superhero shine with his Spider-Man comic book collection, which brought a wave of nostalgia to the group.
  •  🏺 Amanda shared a piece of her family history: handmade pottery created by her grandmother.
  •  🧶 Alyssa melted hearts by showing a blanket handmade for her son, Milo, by a family member.
  •  👜 Miylie brought in a purse that belonged to her mom, sharing how it still carries meaning and memories in her daily life.

The session reminded us that everyone has a story, and when we share those stories, we deepen the culture that makes Lawline special.
