Lawline is growing! We recently hired an Accounting Manager to join our team. Our new hire, Amanda, is going to manage and optimize our financial processes by bringing her impactful knowledge, experience, and skills to the company. The interview process went well! I enjoyed the transparency of the process, as well as the communication from Miylie Roan (HR Generalist) with follow-ups or next steps. I felt very comfortable and everyone was genuinely interested in getting to know me and how I would fit into the culture at Lawline.
I have been in a remote role for the previous two years so, I was knowledgeable on what to expect. Lawline does a great job making me feel included from meeting different team members throughout the onboarding process to inviting me to different groups within the organization.
My first week was a whirlwind of meetings and role-specific trainings. The training was full but not overwhelming. Between watching video presentations to then having follow up Q&A time with each department was helpful and a great way to get to know others. Getting to understand how each department supports each other and the company as a whole helped me understand the heart of Lawline.
I would have to say learning Trello and being comfortable talking about myself and my experiences. Everyone made me welcome so it did not add any additional pressure.
I am really enjoying my time here. Lawline has really taken the time to create an environment of inclusion while supporting diversity and equality. The culture screams growth, flexibility and wellness!
