Celebrating Svetlana’s Promotion to Senior Enterprise Success Manager!

Svetlana joined Lawline in July 2020, bringing energy, dedication, and a talent for building strong client relationships. She has been instrumental in supporting our enterprise clients and ensuring their success with Lawline’s products and services. Keep reading to learn more about Svetlana’s career journey! 

Can you share your career path leading up to your recent promotion? We’d love to hear about the roles you’ve held, key experiences, and any turning points.

“I’m excited to share my journey with the Lawline team. My passion has always been centered around Customer Experience. Early in my career at Martindale-Avvo, I supported attorneys with marketing needs and lead generation. Attorneys are notoriously busy, and I loved helping them with building their online presence, whether through managing directory listings or editing websites. That role reinforced how rewarding it is to support the legal community.

When I joined Lawline as a Customer Support Representative, I instantly connected with the company's mission: empowering attorneys to pursue justice through legal education. It felt meaningful and motivating. I enjoyed moderating live webcasts, handling complex CLE requirement questions, and supporting customers through various channels. I applied my marketing background to assist with the group subscription inquiries, which led to closing inbound sales for small firms and helping establish our onboarding processes for Teams and Enterprise clients.

That experience paved the way for my transition into the Customer Success Manager role, where I focused fully on B2B partnerships. I guide firms through onboarding, adoption, and long-term success, building relationships that turn into lasting partnerships. Along the way, I helped launch the Lawline Ledger, a monthly newsletter for firm administrators. It’s a hub of the CLE updates, new Lawline features, curated programs, and live webcast highlights. Last year, I moved to the Learning Solutions Team. My role grew to include hosting client check-ins, supporting conferences, and shaping our success strategy. Each of these milestones prepared me for the opportunity to step into my new role as Senior Enterprise Success Manager.”

How do you envision your new role impacting both our team and Lawline’s future? Are there specific goals or initiatives you're excited to pursue?

“I’m grateful to be part of the supportive Learning Solutions team, where I continue to learn and grow through the insights my teammates and our leader, Angelica Cesario, share daily. Together we are focused on elevating the B2B client experience even further, deepening relationships, and expanding Lawline’s impact in the legal education area. I’m especially excited to support our CLE Concierge clients, which has given me the chance to learn even more about accreditation, filming, and the behind-the-scenes work that powers Lawline’s programs. 

While preparing this blog post, I outlined the following goals:

• Sustaining and growing our strong client retention rates by nurturing and advising our clients.
• Enhancing communication strategies with firm administrators to ensure we are the partner they can rely on. Whether it’s keeping them up to date on CLE changes, helping them discover relevant content for their members, or supporting accreditation of in-house CLE programs for retreats and business development events, our goal is to make their work easier and more effective.
• Partner cross-functionally to bring client feedback into product and content development.”

Looking ahead, what are your long-term career goals and how does this promotion align with them?

“My long-term career goals center on becoming a strategic leader in customer success and client partnerships, with a key focus on developing my leadership skills. Participating in the Emerging Leaders Program last quarter was a rewarding and eye-opening experience. I am eager to continue building on that momentum by embracing new opportunities to grow and broaden my toolkit. Another career goal of mine is to explore thought leadership opportunities by co-presenting at professional conferences to share insights and highlight Lawline within the broader legal community.

This promotion is an important step in my Lawline journey. It gave me the chance to take on more strategic responsibilities while aligning my personal growth with Lawline’s mission and long-term success.”
