At Lawline we take pride in our company culture, which is driven by a set of core values that inspire us to be our best selves every day. Our five core values, Care, Create, Act, Play, and Grow, are at the heart of everything we do. They guide our decisions, shape our interactions with peers and customers, and help us stay true to our mission of transforming the legal industry. As an employee of Lawline, these core values have become more than just words in an Employee Handbook. For me, they serve as a daily reminder of the kind of person I strive to be in my work and in my interactions with my colleagues. When I find myself struggling with a task or unsure of how to respond to a request, I take a moment to reflect on these values and ask myself if I am being caring, creative, proactive, fun, and growth-oriented.
Reinforcing the core values through consistent communication and behavior is key. At Lawline, we make it a point to reinforce these values regularly through our hiring practices, company communications, and weekly leader coaching sessions. We believe that by embodying these values, we can create a workplace culture that is positive, inclusive, and empowering. We also use these values to recognize and celebrate our colleague’s achievements.
