Starting August 1, we're making a few updates to our weekly Huddles based directly on employee feedback.
One of the biggest themes we heard was that a Monday mid-day Huddle creates unnecessary pressure. Teams only have a couple of hours at the start of a new week to gather updates, align internally, and prepare to present everything by 11:30 AM EST. By moving Huddles to Wednesdays at 11:30 AM and having written team updates shared by COB Tuesday, everyone has more time to prepare, review updates ahead of time, and come into the meeting with context.
The goal is to make our Huddles less about reading through status updates and more about having meaningful conversations. Each team will continue sharing 1–2 key headliners in Slack before the meeting, while the live Huddle will focus on a rotating Team Spotlight, open Q&A, announcements, and Core Value shoutouts. This gives each team dedicated time to go deeper on an important initiative, challenge, or win, while creating more space for discussion across the company.
As always, we'll continue listening to feedback and making adjustments along the way. Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts and helped shape this new format. I'm excited to see how it evolves and hope it creates an even better experience for all of us.
