- How was the interview process for you?
For me, the interview process was very comfortable. Although I was nervous beforehand, as many are, everyone I spoke with (Miylie, Jocelyn, Kathleen, and Mike) was so nice and relaxed, and really allowed me to be myself. Even when I stumbled on an answer to a question, I still made jokes and felt like I was able to insert my personality into the process. I've never had that feeling before! - Joining a fully remote company, what did you imagine Lawline would be like?
I learned from Miylie in my initial interview that Lawline had only recently become fully remote, so I was interested to see what that would look like. After coming from an organization that had also gone remote during the pandemic, but had not adapted as well as we all had hoped, I had my reservations. After reading about all of the amazing benefits that were available though, I could tell that Lawline truly cared about the health and well-being of their employees which is all that I could hope for. Once I got here, that was only solidified. The onboarding and tech setup process was seamless, and I would have never guessed that Lawline had only been remote for a few years. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that being fully remote with Lawline is the best thing that could have happened for me! - What was your first week like at Lawline?
My first week at Lawline was amazing. The best onboarding experience I have ever had in my career. Ever! Miylie and Alyssa did an incredible job making sure that I had everything I needed up until my start date, and also put so much work into making me a comprehensive schedule for my entire first week. Organization is my love language, so this was especially huge (lol)! Once I got here though, every single person on the Lawline team made me feel SO welcomed. I had amazing one-on-one chats with so many colleagues, the team meetings were always accompanied by people welcoming me and celebrating me, and the Slack group chats provided even more support. In my first week at Lawline, I simply felt so supported and welcomed. Like I said before, there is no doubt in my mind that I absolutely made the right decision to be here. - What would you say is your biggest GROW moment so far?
What I love is that my GROW moments are ongoing, forever. I am the kind of person who strives to ALWAYS be growing and changing! In my first week, however, I have learned so much about the legal profession. I came to Lawline with little to no experience in the law industry, but am so ready to learn anything and everything about it. I have had so much fun doing that! Also, Lawline is only my second marketing job in my career, so I have been growing in many ways learning how to adapt to a new position and a new team, and I have loved every minute! - Is there anything else that you would like to share?
THANK YOU! If you are reading this, thank YOU. Thank you for reading about my experience, for being a part of this amazing and welcoming culture, and for being one of my best colleagues! Thank you.

- How was the interview process for you?
The interview process for me went very well. I enjoyed talking to everyone and they made the interview experience very welcoming. - Joining a fully remote company, what did you imagine Lawline would be like?
I worked remotely before. I expected Lawline to be very rigid and strict. It's nothing like that. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and everyone is very helpful and accommodating. - What was your first week like at Lawline?
Lots of meetings and videos and more meetings that were insightful. I loved meeting everyone and just getting to know people. - What would you say is your biggest GROW moment so far?
Working here is a dream for me. Continuing to grow my skill set has been a huge GROW moment so far. - Is there anything else that you would like to share?
The onboarding process was well done. It was very well thought out and accommodating. Going through my first week I felt and could see that Lawline actually cared that I got off to a good start instead of just throwing a bunch of stuff to read at me and expecting me to understand it all. I felt like I understood the business before I was even writing any lines of code.
