Work From Anywhere Day: What Happened When We Got Out of Our Houses

On September 29th, National Coffee Day, we encouraged everyone to work somewhere outside of their home. A Deskpass coworking space (a perk we offer employees), a coffee shop, a library, anywhere that was not their usual desk. Every employee who booked a space received a $40 gift card to cover coffee, lunch, or a treat!

What happened was a little unexpected and really nice.

The common theme across the team was not just “I got out of the house.” People wanted to spend the time together. Teammates who live near each other coordinated their locations. Others spent the day at a coffee shop solo and came back to work with a completely different energy than they had at the start of the week.

Even LinkedIn’s official page joined in on the celebration, leaving a comment on Svetlana Glacken’s, our Customer Success Manager, LinkedIn post about the day!
