February Spotlight: Melissa – EXUDING OPTIMISM

During a record-breaking attendance for a Lawline.com webcast, the production team encountered some technical difficulties. In its first ever 3-camera filming, the entire screen and audio went out - resulting in zero viewers able to watch the program.

What could have been a potential larger issue was capped and resolved near immediately due to Melissa's cool nature and optimism. Under pressure, she let instincts take over and suggested going straight to restarting our software, rather than trying to resolve an unknown problem. This saved time and resolved the issue rapidly without sacrificing crucial seconds (yes, seconds!) in trying to delve into a problem. Her ability to assess the situation, take it for what it was, act quickly and reach a resolution fast was a true statement of her belief in her own instincts.
