These plastic bottles are now being viewed as a green, cheap and sustainable way to light homes. In rural Manila where homes are often built so close to each other that they have no windows or natural light these bottles are a God send. With electricity unaffordable or unavailable for many families they often have to work, do chores, and eat in near darkness. Now there is light! Take a look at this. Absolutely incredible. Simple solutions can still be creative. Sometimes it is those who are able to fix the vexing problem with simple yet creative solutions.
