Although tattooing has been around for centuries, modern tattoos artists are constantly adapting the art to incorporate technological developments. The late 90's gave us the awesome invisible UV tattoo, the early 2000's brought about 'semi-permanent' tattoos (whose legitimacy is still up for debate), and in 2011 tattooing broke through into the digital world with the first ever animated tattoo.
Bonus! The first ever RANDOM tattoo:
If you knew your tattoo would only be visible under blacklight, would fade after a few years, or could be changed with a simple QR code URL switch, would you consider getting one?
