The above video went viral a year or two ago all across the internet. It is the final speech from the Charlie Chaplin movie The Great Dictator and it is incredibly moving, especially with all of the superimposed imagery in this particular version.
There are many significant points made in the video, but I think the most important of those is that it's important to be yourself, and simply to love one another. This speech is an amazing reminder that every day you should be trying not only to improve your own life, but also the lives of those around you. The best thing about working at FurtherEd is that we are given the opportunity to do just that. We work hard every day not just because it's a job, but to constantly grow and to make the world a better place. We're not micromanaged or ruled and we are generally given the freedom to work on projects at our own pace and to collaborate with other departments.
Bob Dylan once said, "A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and goes to bed at night and in between does what he wants to do." I believe this is something we all get to do here at FurtherEd, and words cannot describe how proud of that I truly am.
